CUSTOM SAFARIS

Any safari itinerary can be taken with an exclusive vehicle. A custom safari for two clients is significantly more expensive per person than a seat on a similar small group safari. However, on a custom safari with an exclusive vehicle, the cost of the vehicle and driver/ guide are divided by the number of clients sharing the vehicle. Therefore, the per person cost of a custom safari reduces the more clients that are sharing the vehicle (maximum in one vehicle is 7).

If you do have an exclusive vehicle for your safari then the timing and itinerary becomes completely flexible, within logistical constraints. You will be free to change the start and finish days and times, the places visited and the order in which you visit them to suit your individual preferences and interests.

You can also choose to use any of the available accommodation, including permanent tented camps, in each location.

When you are on safari you can ask your driver/guide to look out specifically for the things you want to see, and take as long looking or photographing them as you want, within your overall timetable.

Custom itineraries enable you to add a day or half day in places of particular interest, and you can make the most of your days by making an earlier start or later finish than scheduled itineraries. Although your overall plan must be agreed and accommodation booked in advance, whilst on safari your driver/guide will be completely at your service and will spend as much time as possible seeking the sights and animals you want to see.
